Code Of Conduct
All members, no matter how high in the chain of command, must
follow this code of conduct. Failure to follow any of the rules
stated in the code of the conduct will result in disciplinary
action against the accused after a trial has been conducted and
substantial evidence (witnesses, copies of text messages, etc)
have been given. Any tampering of evidence is strictly
prohibited and will result in immediate dishonorable discharge
from the Clan.
Please read over the following Hemp Beach POTHEADZ code of
conduct rules:
Respect.
POTHEADZ respect each other and the country and citizens they
defend. The Hemp Beach POTHEADZ are an organization of gamers
based on mutual respect. Disagreements may arise, however in the
end we are a Brotherhood and it is expected all POTHEADZ will
find common ground and put disagreements behind them as quickly
as possible.
Professionalism.
POTHEADZ are professionals. All Members of Hemp Beach POTHEADZ
must maintain a professional, decent and respectful demeanor;
commensurate with the conduct expected of active-duty Marines.
Demeaning individuals or groups in any way is counter to the
professionalism expected of POTHEADZ and the beliefs of Hemp
Beach POTHEADZ.
Excellence.
POTHEADZ strive for excellence in all they do. Their excellence
is based on hard work, dedication and natural ability. The Hemp
Beach POTHEADZ participates in a number of different online
games and simulations; our pursuit of excellence has no place
for those who unnaturally enhance their ability by cheating or
glitching.
Leadership.
POTHEADZ are Leaders and Leadership is based on service. All
Members of the Hemp Beach POTHEADZ will be strong leaders and
strive to maintain, promote and display the highest standards of
personal conduct.
Maturity.
All POTHEADZ Clan members are expected to keep a mature demeanor
whilst in the presence of outside individuals, especially in the
case of possible recruitment opportunities that may arise. Any
POTHEADZ breaking such a rule is exempting lack of maturity and
professionalism that has been instilled in the daily life of
POTHEADZ. Maturity is a key factor in being a Marine. Lack of
maturity means a lack of professionalism and in some various
cases, respect.
Brotherhood.
Every member of the Clan, from the moments he/she joins this
organization of military-oriented gamers, is your brother or
sister in arms. You will treat each other with mutual respect
and will accept their opinions as a different point of view. You
may have a different opinion on a certain subject as may another
person, you are all entitled to your opinions, however, even
with these differences of opinion, you are still brothers and
sisters in arms and will exempt proper conduct to your fellow
enlisted member.
Honesty.
The Hemp Beach POTHEADZ, values honesty above all else. Lying to
get what you want is a breach of respect, maturity, and honesty
and severe disciplinary action can be taken. Remember, honesty
is always the best policy. Yes, the truth may hurt, but lies
hurt worse. Remember to be honest in every situation you speak
of.
Commitment.
You are committed, from the moment you join this Clan, to the
Hemp Beach POTHEADZ. Whether you seek a future career in gaming
or not, you are committed to both this Clan and the gaming
world. You will be committed therefore, to every task you are
given. You will tackle each task with a deadly efficiency and
maturity that is expected of the POTHEADZ.
Honor.
Honor can be defined in
many different ways. Selfless acts to protect your teammates
without concern to your personal health is a prime example of
honor. You must honor everything you do and bring forth mutual
respect and honor to the Clan be succeeding in your goals while
upholding the rules stated in the Code of Conduct. True honor is
rewarded for how well you listen and pay attention. You will
have received honor if you follow each and every one of these
rules, for it is an honorable task to uphold.
Fair Play.
We value fair play. Cheating or glitching of any kind is a
breach in the codes of honor, honesty, brotherhood, fair play,
excellence, and professionalism and will be dealt with severely
if you are found guilty in a court of military justice (which
will be designated by a commanding officials orders). Fair play
is the best and most honorable way to play. Never attempt to be
unfair in your judgments or decisions. For your actions could
result in severe consequences.
